March 03, 2007 - You may have noticed the site was down for a few weeks....or not, LOL! Well we moved to a new server/host and the site is fully functional again. The writing is going extremely well. We are getting closer to being able to start presenting some new material before live audiences and we hope you are as excited as we are. Keep watching this page for updates.
April 01, 2006 - Just a quick update to let you know how things are coming along. We've shaken off the rust and have started to write and as usual things go in unexpected directions (can you say "Eyes of Sorrow"?). We like to mix things up a bit and try not to be too predictable, but always heavy as hell! Intrigued yet? Stay tuned.
January 21, 2006 - Well, I guess you've all been patient enough for some news from the Monument camp, right? Sorry about the delay in updating you about the status of our band. We finally finished our rehearsal space/studio and are once again pounding out the tunes with renewed aggression. Kevin is all healed up from his wrist injury and is back beating the holy shit out of his drums. After working out some of the cob webs, we plan on writing and recording our fourth album and tearing up a stage near you. Thanks for the continued support and the well wishes we received from many of you, we really appreciate it. We hope to see you soon.
January 15, 2005 - We hope to begin work on our new rehearsal space soon so we can start jamming again. Kevin is healing nicely and we are itching to play. Stay tuned.

January 01, 2003 - We want to wish everyone a happy new year. We're still working Jerry into the band, getting the old songs tighter and working on new stuff. Hopefully by summer we'll be hitting the road again with some new sounds and everyone will be able to check Jerry out. L8R
September 06, 2002 - It seems our long-time drummer Kevin Courtney has decided to quit the band. It's been 9 long years of great times and some disappointments, but we always enjoyed jammin' together. We wish Kevin the best of luck in this next part of his life. We've already found a replacement, his name is Jerry Gulley and he comes to us from a band called Purgatory State. Jerry's an awesome drummer and has already played a show with us after only 2 weeks of rehearsal. We hope to begin writing some new material soon which will be the ultimate test of chemistry with a new member.

July 14, 2001 - After 6 weeks of rehab on my wrist, the band is back at work rehearsing to resume our summer shows. Unfortunately, Kirk broke his arm recently but it won't interfere with our schedule. I added a shopping cart system to our order page so now ordering is easier than ever. SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? :)
May 6, 2001 - After our show on May 5th, I (Sean) hurt my hand moving Chad's rack which weighed a few more pounds than it normally does. He had an extra 1000 watt power amp in it for some reason. I have to wear a brace for a few weeks so our upcoming shows are cancelled. Hopefully We'll be back at it in June.

August 26, 2000 - Mixdown is complete and We'll be sending the album off for mastering in the next few days. It already sounds killer so mastering will push it completely over the edge. World renown graphic artist Travis Smith is doing the artwork and I'll post it here when it's ready. We want to thank engineer Bart Rose for his tireless work on this album. We had a great time in the studio and enjoyed the whole experience. We also want to thank our friend Brandy Hill for allowing us to take over her domicile for a couple of weekends.
August 14, 2000 - Check out some pics from the studio. Studio Pics
August 7, 2000 - Three more blistering summer days in Ft. Worth, Texas and our second weekend of recording comes to an end. The only thing hotter than the Texas sun was the work being done inside the studio. Everything is recorded and only final mixdown remains. Due to other bookings we will have to wait a couple of weeks before we can return which really sucks because we are so anxious to get this album on the street. This is by far our best album to date and WILL NOT disappoint anyone that loves their metal "hard, fast and heavy". Stay tuned!
July 31, 2000 - Well we finished our first weekend of recording and so far everything is going great! Kevin finished all his drum tracks and I got my basic guitar tracks recorded and edited. Next weekend I'll work on solos and Chad will record his bass tracks. Hopefully We'll get to the vocals before we have to leave. It's annoying to be limited by only getting to record on the weekends, but the studio is in Texas and we live in Oklahoma.....bummer! By the way, day jobs suck!!!
